The dimensions, piece size, reinforcement, and loading route matter when concrete weight drives the job. The goal is to give the hauling crew enough detail to assess the work without burying the useful facts.

Measure all three dimensions

Estimate the pile’s length, width, and average height. A photo with a common object for scale helps, but measurements are better. Say whether the pile is mostly solid chunks or loosely stacked pieces.

Check for reinforcement

Mention rebar, wire mesh, anchors, or attached posts. Reinforced pieces may need different handling than loose pavers or brick.

Describe piece size

A pile of hand-sized brick is not the same handling job as intact steps or large patio slabs. Do not break oversized pieces unless you have the right tools, protective equipment, and experience.

Show the wheel route

Photograph gates, slopes, stairs, soft ground, and the distance to truck access. A dense load moved ten feet over pavement differs from the same load behind a narrow gate.
